San Servolo Island hosts the first exhibition of 2019, which takes place simultaneously with the Venice Biennale. The initiative, entitled “San Servolo Island Event – Mutations” is curated by Artestruttura and features forty-four contemporary artists. Documenting the event, a beautiful catalogue by Editoriale Giorgio Mondadori. Critical text and editorial coordination by Boris Brollo, introduction by Giuseppe Siano, English translation by Andrea Lodolo. On the front and back cover, works by Adriano Bolzan supported by Sky Ocean Rescue and with the patronage of the WWF.
"We are surrounding Venice with a normal 'collective', something the Curator of the Biennale Arti Visive abhors, aware that there are ups and downs between us. The same paths of artistic life bear witness to this, but we are also proud of these differences which, if they exist among us, they will certainly be so also in the world artistic circus."
