“ARTISTI ITALIANI CONTEMPORANEI A MILANO”

A book and an exhibition that pay homage to that aching humanity that is nevertheless open to hope as recounted by Alda Merini. Paintings, sculptures and graphics alternate between figuration, informal art, abstractionism, surrealism and other modes of expression in a significant overview of contemporary Italian art. In the exhibition and in the catalogue published by Editoriale Giorgio Mondadori, about forty artists confront each other in painting, sculpture and graphics. Introductory text by Leo Strozzieri, photographs by Sharon Caneva.  On the cover "Sogno. Le mani del sesso, del piacere e delle disgrazie", work by Ugo Mainetti.
