In the catalogue, which presents the work of ninety contemporary Italian artists on display in the Stuttgart City Hall, figuration prevails, but there are also significant examples of abstract and informal art. The use of techniques is also varied, from oil to acrylic, from watercolour to mixed media, while marble and wood are the preferred materials for the sculptures.
