STOCCOLMA

11 May / 25 May 2023

About fifty contemporary artists present their works in Stockholm, the Swedish capital. The Alviks Bibliotek hosts the interesting exhibition in its own exhibition spaces. The vast majority of the artists in the exhibition are Italian, but the show also features Swedish and Finnish painters and photographers. Numerous mixed media works of art were exhibited, as well as figurative and abstract paintings. The exhibition also features watercolours and digital sculptures. The international exhibition is accompanied by a catalog entitled "Stoccolma", published by Artestruttura and present in the official series of ItaliArts. The works in the exhibition and catalogue offer a significant cross-section of national contemporary art. Introductory critical text of the volume by Leo Strozzieri. On the cover and back cover works by Fabrizio Mason.

"...This, for those who wish to explore it further, is the philosophical thought implied in the literary production of the mystical French poet Madeleine Delbrêl, which I would like to espouse and share with visitors to this admirably staged exhibition in the splendid Swedish metropolis universally known for the Academy that awards the prestigious Nobel Prizes. She believed that 'deserts are earned, not given away'. With this conviction at the moment of the dialogical encounter with each work, the mind must be free of thoughts and images that are vain so that in the stillness of the spirit it is possible and relatively easy to listen to the message implied in them, both aesthetic and humanistic, capable of filling the empty spaces with truth, beauty and wisdom."
